Hey,

I was hoping you all could help me a little with my final project.  I need quotes.  More precisely, I need quotes about games.  This may seem random, but could you post some of your favorite, or least favorite, quotes from our readings (or from wherever, really) as comments on this post?  I’m looking for like 3-5 sentence length, I think.

And, as a brief aside, I’m not sure if any of you read about this, but Aqua Teen Hunger Force continued its streak of completely indefensible playfulness this weekend.  For over a week now, Adult Swim has been advertising that the new Aqua Teen movie would be screened this (past) Sunday at 10pm.  Not particularly interesting, except that the movie actually comes out in theaters two weeks from now.   No one, including online bloggers, media outlets, and Adult Swim themselves, could offer a rationale for pre-screening the movie for free (though Adult Swim did suggest, “because we’re ****ing crazy”).

So, Sunday at 10pm the film started, and played for approximately 4 minutes before moving into a small thumb-nail sized box in the bottom left corner screen.  The movie continued playing (without sound) in the miniature box for its full running time.  And, throughout the night, screaming and rock music alerted viewers to the fact that they were indeed watching the Aqua Teen movie, though they were also watching other Adult Swim shows, that the film would be in theaters April 13th, and that the Masters will be shown this Thursday on CBS.
